I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan. In the name of Allah,
the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Allah! There is no god but He,
the Living, the Self-Subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him nor
sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there
that can intercede in His presence except as He permits? He knows what
appears to His creatures as before or after or behind them. Nor shall
they compass aught of His knowledge except as He wills. His Throne
extends over the heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in
guarding and preserving them for He is the Most High, the Supreme.
(Ayat al-Kursi - Al-Baqarah 255)

The Messenger believes in what has been revealed to him from his Lord,
and so do the believers. Each one believes in Allah, His angels, His
books, and His messengers. They say, "We make no distinction between
any of His messengers." And they say, "We hear and we obey. We seek
Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the return." Allah does not
burden a soul beyond that it can bear. It gets every good that it
earns, and it suffers every ill that it earns. "Our Lord! Do not
condemn us if we forget or fall into error. Our Lord! Do not lay on us
a burden like that which You laid on those before us. Our Lord! Do not
impose upon us that which we have not the strength to bear. Pardon us,
forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our Protector, so give us
victory over the disbelieving people."
(Al-Baqarah 285 - 286)

Say: He is Allah, the One and Only; Allah, the Eternal, Absolute; He
begets not, nor is He begotten; And there is none like unto Him.
3
Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of the Dawn, from the mischief of
created things; from the mischief of Darkness as it overspreads; from
the mischief of those who practice secret arts; and from the mischief
of the envious one as he practices envy.
3
Say: I seek refuge with the Lord and Cherisher of Mankind, the King of
Mankind, the God of Mankind, from the mischief of the Whisperer who
withdraws after his whisper, who whispers into the hearts of Mankind,
among Jinns and among Men.

sovereignty and to Him belongs all praise, and He is over all things
omnipotent. My Lord, I ask You for the good of this night and the good
of what follows it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this
night and the evil of what follows it. My Lord, I seek refuge in You
from laziness and senility. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from torment
in the Fire and punishment in the grave.

my sin, so forgive me, for none forgives sins except You.

O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in this life and the
hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in my
religion, my worldly affairs, my family, and my wealth. O Allah,
conceal my faults and calm my fears. O Allah, protect me from before
me and behind me, from my right and my left, and from above me, and I
seek refuge in Your greatness from being taken unaware from beneath
me.
3
O Ever-Living, O Self-Subsisting, by Your mercy I seek assistance,
rectify for me all of my affairs and do not leave me to myself, even
for the blink of an eye.
3
We have reached the evening and the dominion belongs to Allah, Lord of
the worlds. O Allah, I ask You for the good of this night, its
opening, its victory, its light, its blessings, and its guidance, and
I seek refuge in You from the evil of what is in it and the evil of
what comes after it.
3
O Allah, Knower of the unseen and the seen, Creator of the heavens and
the earth, Lord and Sovereign of all things, I bear witness that there
is none worthy of worship but You. I seek refuge in You from the evil
of my soul and from the evil of Satan and his helpers, and from
committing wrong against my soul or bringing it upon any Muslim.

I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He
has created.

with You, and we seek Your forgiveness for what we do unknowingly.

by debt and overpowered by men.

O Allah, You are my Lord, there is none worthy of worship but You.
Upon You I rely, and You are the Lord of the Great Throne. What Allah
wills will be, and what He does not will will not be. There is no
power and no strength except with Allah, the Most High, the Most
Great. I know that Allah is over all things competent and that Allah
has encompassed all things in knowledge. O Allah, I seek refuge in You
from the evil of my soul and from the evil of every creature that You
seize by its forelock. Indeed, my Lord is upon a straight path.
