Prophet Muhammad ﷺ: The Perfect Role Model for Humanity

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the best role model for humanity, combining human perfection and moral elevation.

1. His Physical Description

He ﷺ was of medium height, strong build, fair-skinned with a reddish tinge, radiant face, wide eyes, and beautiful hair.

His face shone like the full moon, and his features conveyed dignity and beauty.

2. His Morals and Interaction with People

He ﷺ was the most humble of people, not disdaining to sit with the poor and needy.

He was always smiling, gentle in treatment, never scolding or embarrassing anyone.

Anas bin Malik said: "The Messenger of God never said 'uff' (expression of annoyance) to me."

3. His Patience and Forbearance

He endured harm in Mecca and Taif, and bore difficulties without responding with anger or revenge.

When harmed, he said: "O Allah, forgive my people for they do not know."

4. His Courage and Leadership

He was at the forefront of the ranks in battles, encouraging his companions, and standing firm against enemies.

In Badr, Uhud, and the Trench, he was the brave and steadfast leader.

5. His Knowledge and Wisdom

The Prophet ﷺ was a wise teacher, weighing matters with reason and divine law, and answering questions with wisdom.

He said: "Work for your worldly life as if you will live forever, and work for your Hereafter as if you will die tomorrow."

6. His Concern for Family and Society

He was affectionate towards his children, kind to his wives, kissed his grandchildren, and played with them.

He encouraged dialogue within the family, honored women, and elevated their status.

7. His Worship and Piety

The Prophet ﷺ prayed and remembered God abundantly, stood in night prayer, and supplicated to Allah.

Aisha said: "He would stand until his feet became swollen" in gratitude to God for His blessings.

8. His Treatment of Non-Muslims

He treated non-Muslims with justice and kindness, made treaties with them, visited their sick, and ate their food.

He respected covenants and instructed kindness to non-Muslims as long as they were peaceful.

9. His Influence on People

The Prophet ﷺ changed history and established a civilization based on faith, knowledge, and morals.

His influence remains evident in the lives of millions who follow his biography.

10. His Description in the Quran

Allah said: "And We have not sent you except as a mercy to the worlds." (21:107)

And said: "Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; and those with him are firm against the disbelievers and merciful among themselves..." (48:29)

These verses confirm the Prophet's ﷺ characteristics of mercy and strength in truth.

11. Journey to Taif: Pain Met with Hope

After the death of Lady Khadijah and his uncle Abu Talib, the harm from Quraysh intensified against the Prophet ﷺ, so he went to Taif seeking support and inviting to Allah.

The Prophet ﷺ approached the people of Taif from the Thaqif tribe and invited them to Islam, but they met him with mockery and expulsion, even commanding their children to stone him.

The Prophet ﷺ took shelter in the shade of a wall belonging to Banu Rabi'ah, wounded and in pain, and raised his hands to the sky saying a great supplication: "O Allah, to You I complain of my weakness, my lack of resources, and my lowliness before the people..."

Allah sent him the Angel of the Mountains to offer to crush them between the two mountains surrounding Mecca, but the Prophet ﷺ said: "Rather, I hope that Allah will bring forth from their loins those who will worship Allah alone without associating partners with Him."

Despite its pain, this journey showed the greatness of the Prophet's ﷺ forbearance and mercy even towards those who harmed him.

12. Journey of Isra and Mi'raj: Honor from Heaven

After the events of sorrow and Taif, Allah willed to honor His Prophet ﷺ with a great journey of spiritual and physical miracles: Isra and Mi'raj.

The Prophet ﷺ was taken at night from the Sacred Mosque in Mecca to Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem on a mount called "Al-Buraq".

There he prayed with the prophets, then he ascended to the highest heavens, where he met the prophets: Adam, Yahya, Isa, Yusuf, Musa, and Ibrahim (peace be upon them all).

Then he reached Sidrat al-Muntaha (Lote Tree of the Utmost Boundary), where Allah ordained upon him and his nation the prayer, the first thing for which a servant will be held accountable.

This journey was a strengthening for the Prophet ﷺ after hardships and a confirmation of his status with Allah the Exalted.

13. Prophet's ﷺ Supplication in Taif

O Allah, to You I complain of my weakness, my lack of resources, and my lowliness before the people, O Most Merciful of the merciful, You are the Lord of the oppressed, and You are my Lord.

To whom have You entrusted me? To a distant one who receives me with hostility? Or to an enemy You have given control over my affair? If You are not angry with me, then I do not care, but Your pardon is more expansive for me.

I seek refuge in the light of Your Face by which the heavens and earth are illuminated, that Your anger should descend upon me or Your wrath should come down upon me. To You is the appeal until You are pleased, and there is no power nor might except with You.

15. Muslims' Love for Prophet Muhammad ﷺ: Manifestations and Expressions

Love for Prophet Muhammad ﷺ represents a foundation among the secrets of Islamic faith; it is not merely appreciation for a historical figure, but an innate love stemming from faith in Allah and His Messenger. Allah said: "Say, [O Muhammad], 'If your fathers, your sons... are dearer to you than Allah and His Messenger... then wait until Allah executes His command.'" (9:24)

14. Ibrahimic Prayer upon the Prophet ﷺ

O Allah, send Your blessings upon our Master Muhammad and upon the family of our Master Muhammad, as You sent blessings upon our Master Ibrahim and upon the family of our Master Ibrahim,

And bless our Master Muhammad and upon the family of our Master Muhammad, as You blessed our Master Ibrahim and upon the family of our Master Ibrahim among the worlds... Indeed, You are Praiseworthy, Glorious.
