The Princess and the Color Wizard

The Special Princess and the Color Witch

The Special Princess and the Color Witch

Chapter 1

A princess like no other

In ancient times, in a faraway kingdom called the "Kingdom of Light," lived a little princess named Lama. But Lama was not an ordinary princess; she was a "special" princess, as everyone called her. Why? Because she had an amazing ability: she could see colors that no one else could see!

When she looked at the sky, she would see thousands of colors dancing between the blue of the blue and the white of the clouds. And when she looked at the garden, she would see every flower carrying within it colors hidden from the eyes of ordinary people.

Lama was a cheerful girl, ten years old, with long black hair that sparkled like a starry night, and large honey-colored eyes; when you looked into them, you felt as if you were looking at the warmth of the sun.

The king and queen loved their daughter dearly, and were proud of her special ability. But sometimes they worried about her, for whoever possesses a special ability may face difficulties that others do not.

One day, while Lama was playing in the palace garden, she saw something strange. There was a small feather on the grass, but it shimmered with all the colors of the rainbow together! Lama ran towards the feather and picked it up carefully, feeling a strange warmth coursing through her fingers.

Suddenly, she heard a faint voice:

Lama... Lama...

She looked around but saw no one.

"Who is speaking?" she asked in a trembling voice.

I am the feather in your hand... I need your help.

Lama almost threw the feather from her hand in astonishment, but her curiosity was stronger than her fear.

A talking feather? That's impossible!
Everything is possible in the Kingdom of Light, my little one. But I am not an ordinary feather, I am part of the wing of the magical peacock.

Chapter 2

The secret of the magical peacock

Lama stared at the feather as it shimmered with its vivid colors.

The magical peacock? I've never heard of it before.
Of course you haven't, because the magical peacock disappeared many years ago. I am the last of its feathers, and the winds carried me until I reached you.

Lama sat on the grass, holding the feather cautiously.

But why do you ask for my help? I'm just a child.

The feather laughed with a sound like silver bells tinkling.

You are not an ordinary child, you are the special princess, the only one who can see my true colors. That's why I landed in your garden and no one else's.

The feather began to tell its story:

The magical peacock lived in the Forest of Colors, and every morning it would fly over the kingdom, scattering colors on the flowers, trees, and butterflies. Everyone loved it, until the color witch came.
The color witch? Who is she?
She was a kind witch in the past, named Ghaliyah. She loved colors more than anything, but she became jealous of the magical peacock because everyone loved it more than her. So she cast a spell on it, turning it into a gray stone statue, and its feathers scattered in every direction.

Lama's eyes filled with tears as she imagined the poor peacock.

That's terrible! How can we help it?
You alone can break the spell, Lama. But the journey to the Forest of Colors is difficult and dangerous.
Never mind! I will go and rescue it! Lama shouted enthusiastically.

Chapter 3

A brave decision

In the evening, Lama went to her parents, Queen Noor and King Diya, and told them everything that had happened. The parents exchanged worried glances.

My dear daughter, Queen Noor said gently, this journey is very dangerous. The Forest of Colors is far away, and there are many dangers in it.
But Mother, the magical peacock needs my help! I'm the only one who can help it!

King Diya thought for a long time and then said:

If you are determined to go, I will not stop you. But on condition that you take a guard with you.
But Father, the guards will slow me down, and they will frighten the animals in the forest. Let me go alone with a little friend.

At that moment, a small white rabbit with blue eyes jumped out from among the flowers.

And I will go with her too! the rabbit suddenly said.

Lama and everyone were astonished.

A talking rabbit?!
I am not an ordinary rabbit, I am Farfour, the magical garden rabbit. I have been listening to you all along, and I want to help Lama on her journey.

The king smiled and said:

It seems fate wills it. Well then, Lama, you will go with Farfour. But take this gift with you.

The king gave her a small silver mirror.

This is the magical mirror; if you face danger, say "Light of Light" and it will illuminate the safe path for you.

The queen gave her a blue cloak.

This cloak is made from the fabric of the sky; it protects from heat and cold, and hides whoever wears it if they touch its left edge.

Lama thanked them warmly, and bid them farewell, feeling courage fill her heart.

Chapter 4

The beginning of the journey

Early in the morning, as the sun shyly crept over the hills, Lama and Farfour the rabbit set off on their journey. Lama carried the magical feather in her pocket, wore the blue cloak, and carried the silver mirror in a small bag on her back.

They walked through the green fields, then entered a dense forest. The trees were so tall they almost touched the sky, and their leaves were large like umbrellas.

"How beautiful this forest is!" said Lama, looking around.

"Wait," said Farfour, sniffing the air, "I smell a strange odor..."

Suddenly, they heard a loud rustling sound, and lo and behold, a huge spider descended in front of them on a silk rope! The spider was the size of a large dog, with eight eyes gleaming in the shade.

"Who are you? And what are you doing in my forest?" asked the spider in a deep voice.

Lama trembled but remembered she was a brave princess.

"I am Princess Lama from the Kingdom of Light, and this is my friend Farfour. We are going to the Forest of Colors to rescue the magical peacock."

The spider looked at them for a long time, then suddenly laughed:

Ha ha ha! A little princess and a talking rabbit want to rescue a peacock? This is the most amusing story I've heard in hundreds of years!

Lama felt angry, but she controlled her temper.

Why do you laugh? Perhaps we are small, but our hearts are big and brave.

The spider fell silent and looked at them with admiration.

You are a brave girl, I admit that. Well, perhaps I can help you. I am the spider, guardian of the forest, and I know all the paths. But first you must pass my test.

Chapter 5

The spider's test

"What is the test?" asked Farfour curiously.

The test is simple: you must reach the other side of my web without touching its threads. If you succeed, I will show you the shortcut to the Forest of Colors.

Lama looked at the huge web in front of her. Its threads were intricately intertwined, covering the distance between two large trees.

But this web is enormous! How can we cross it without touching a single thread?

The spider smiled and said:

That's your problem, not mine.

Lama sat down to think. She remembered the feather in her pocket, so she took it out and asked:

Dear feather, can you help us?
Of course, Lama. I can fly, and I will carry a thin thread for you to the farthest tree. Then you can hang onto that thread and climb across.

And the feather did just that. It flew lightly between the complex threads of the web, without touching a single one, and tied a silken thread between the two trees.

Lama thanked her, then she and Farfour began to climb the thread carefully. It was difficult; the thread was thin and swayed with every movement. But they finally reached the other tree without touching the spider's web.

The spider clapped with all eight of its legs.

Bravo! Bravo! I didn't expect you to succeed so quickly. You deserve help.

The spider gave them a small map drawn on a tree leaf.

This map will lead you to the Forest of Colors. But beware, the path passes through the area of the color witch, and it is very dangerous. Do not look at anything shiny on the road, for those are her tricks.

Chapter 6

The Valley of Talking Roses

Lama thanked the spider, and walked with Farfour according to the map. After hours of walking, they arrived at a beautiful valley full of roses. But these roses were moving and whispering!

The roses were red, yellow, and violet, swaying in the breeze as if dancing. As Lama approached, she heard faint whispers:

Princess... Princess... come play with us...

Lama stopped in amazement.

Talking roses? This is amazing!

A large red rose said:

We are not ordinary roses, we are the roses of the Talking Valley. Everyone who passes here must answer our question, otherwise we will not let them pass.

"What is your question?" asked Lama curiously.

What is the color that you see now that no one else sees?

Lama closed her eyes and concentrated. When she opened them, she saw around the roses halos of magnificent colors: soft pink colors like cotton candy, silvery colors like moonlight, and golden colors like the sun.

I see around each of you a halo of light. The red rose is surrounded by a golden halo, the yellow rose by a silver halo, and the violet rose by a pink halo.

The roses wondered and murmured in amazement:

Indeed! She sees our halos! No one has ever seen them before!

The red rose bowed before Lama.

You truly are the special princess. Many have passed here, but no one has seen our halos. You will have a safe path through our valley.

The roses moved their branches aside, opening a narrow path through the valley. Lama and Farfour walked between the rows of roses bowing in respect to them.

Chapter 7

The witch's area

After leaving the Valley of Roses, they arrived at a barren area. The ground was gray, the trees leafless, and the sky overcast. Lama felt cold seeping into her bones.

This is the area of the color witch, Farfour whispered fearfully. Remember the spider's warning: do not look at anything shiny.

They advanced cautiously. Suddenly, Lama saw something shiny on the ground: a large red gemstone.

Look, Farfour, a beautiful ruby!
Don't look at it! Farfour shouted, but Lama had already bent down to pick it up.

As soon as she touched the stone, she heard a loud, frightening laugh.

Ha ha ha! You fell into my trap, little princess!

A tall woman appeared from nowhere, wearing a black robe, her hair white as snow, and her eyes gleaming like a cat's eyes. It was the color witch, Ghaliyah.

Lama tried to run, but her feet were as if rooted to the ground.

You cannot move now, little one, said the witch in a sharp voice. You have touched my enchanted stone, and now you are my prisoner.

Chapter 8

In the witch's palace

Lama found herself in a strange palace. Everything in it was one color: gray. The walls were gray, the furniture gray, and even the food in front of her was gray.

Why is everything gray here? asked Lama.
Because I hate colors! screamed the witch. Colors are deceptive; they make people forget the truth. Ever since the magical peacock stole people's love from me, I decided to make the world gray and colorless.
But the peacock didn't steal anyone's love! It was only spreading beauty! You are the one who stole it and turned it to stone!

The witch grew angry and approached Lama.

How did you know that? Who told you?
The magical feather told me. And I came to rescue it.

The witch cackled sarcastically:

You? A little girl rescues the peacock? That's funny! I'll imprison you here forever, like it!

But Farfour had managed to hide behind a large statue. He whispered in Lama's ear:

The mirror! Use the mirror!

Lama remembered the silver mirror in her bag. She said in a faint voice:

Light of Light...

Suddenly the mirror shone with a bright light, drawing a path of light on the ground. Lama quickly jumped into this path, and Farfour ran after her. They pierced through the wall as if it were air, and found themselves outside the palace.

Chapter 9

The secret of the witch's sadness

But Lama did not run far. She stopped and looked back at the gray palace.

Why have you stopped? Hurry before she catches us! shouted Farfour fearfully.
Wait, Farfour. I feel the witch is not entirely evil. Perhaps she is just sad.

At that moment, the feather came out of Lama's pocket and said:

You are right, Lama. Ghaliyah was a child like you who loved colors, but people used to mock her because she saw colors in her own unique way. That's why she grew to hate the world and hated the peacock that everyone loved.

Lama thought for a moment, then turned back towards the palace.

What are you doing? shouted Farfour in panic.
I will try to help her. Perhaps she just needs someone to understand her.

Lama knocked on the palace door. The witch opened it in surprise.

You came back? Aren't you afraid of me?
I'm not afraid. I know that inside you love colors, but you hide it.

The witch's face changed and her harsh features softened.

How did you know?
Because I too see colors that no one else sees. And I know how painful it is to be different.

The witch cried for the first time in years. Drops of her tears fell on the gray ground, and as soon as they touched the earth, a beautiful red flower sprouted!

Chapter 10

The return of colors

The witch stared at the flower in astonishment.

A flower... a red flower... I haven't seen a flower in a long time.
Your colors are still inside you, Ghaliyah. Just let them out.

The witch closed her eyes and remembered her childhood days when she used to plant flowers and paint with colors. She felt warmth in her heart, and suddenly, the palace began to change! The gray gradually transformed into vivid colors, and flowers began to sprout everywhere.

I feel happy! shouted the witch. I had forgotten how beautiful life is with colors!
And now, can you release the magical peacock? asked Lama.

The witch nodded, and went to a corner of the palace where the gray peacock statue stood. She touched it with her hand and spoke magical words:

"Oh colors hidden in my depths, return to this peacock, and let it flutter in the horizons."

The ash crumbled from the statue, and a magnificent peacock appeared, with indescribable colors. It was larger and more beautiful than any peacock Lama had ever seen. It spread its large tail containing thousands of intertwined colors, and flapped its wings in thanks.

Chapter 11

The return home

The magical peacock thanked Lama with its eloquent tongue:

Thank you, brave princess. Without you, I would have remained imprisoned forever.
The credit is not mine alone, but Farfour's, the feather's, and the witch Ghaliyah's, who remembered her love for colors.

Ghaliyah looked at the peacock and said:

I am very sorry for what I did to you. I was jealous and foolish.
Never mind, said the peacock. The important thing is that colors have returned to your heart.

The peacock offered to take Lama back to her kingdom on its back. Lama mounted its back with Farfour, and they flew high in the sky. The journey was wonderful; they saw the kingdom from above, the forests and rivers like a beautiful mosaic painting.

The peacock landed in the palace garden, where the king and queen were waiting impatiently. They rejoiced to see their daughter safe, and thanked the peacock for its help.

Chapter 12

A happy ending

Lama became the heroine of the kingdom. The king held a great party to which everyone was invited, even the color witch Ghaliyah, who became a friend of the family. Ghaliyah painted wonderful colorful pictures and taught children how to see beauty in everything.

As for the magical peacock, it decided to stay in the palace garden, flying every morning over the kingdom and scattering colors on the flowers and trees. And Lama would visit it every day, talking with it about the secrets of the colors she saw.

And they all lived in happiness and bliss, in a kingdom that became more beautiful than ever before, because colors had returned to it, and more importantly, love and friendship had returned to everyone's hearts.

And Lama would always say: "Difference is not a flaw, it is a gift that makes us special. And the true colors are those we see with our hearts, not just with our eyes."
